Apuntes para el repensamiento de la enseñanza de la Ingeniería Informática. La cuestión antropológica y la necesidad de una Antropología integral.

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo no es otro que el de contribuir al necesario repensamiento de la enseñanza de las disciplinas tecnocientíficas, particularmente de la Ingeniería Informática, en el ámbito de la Educación Superior Universitaria. A menudo, el profesor de Informática no es suficientemente consciente de que, en toda disciplina científica, y en la forma en que estas se enseñan, hay siempre, implícita, una determinada concepción del hombre y del mundo. Después de analizar brevemente las distintas respuestas que hoy suelen darse a la pregunta genérica por el ser humano, este trabajo nos recuerda que la ciencia y la técnica han de estar al servicio del hombre y que, por tanto, animarlas con un espíritu humanístico -rompiendo con la moderna oposición entre las ciencias de la naturaleza y las del espíritu- no solo es necesario sino hoy, incluso, más urgente que nunca.

The goal of this article is to contribute to the necessary rethinking of the teaching of IT in the realm of Higher Education. Frequently, IT teachers are not aware enough of the fact that, in every scientific discipline, and even in the way it is taught, a certain conception of the world and of the human being is involved. After a brief critical analysis of the diverse perspectives in which the anthropological question can be considered, this paper reminds us that both science and technology should be at the service of humankind and that, therefore, they should be inspired by a humanistic spirit, breaking with the modern opposition between sciences of nature and human sciences. Today, this task is not only necessary but extremely urgent, and the IT teachers cannot be on the sidelines.
