En el marco de un cuestionario exhaustivo, se indagó acerca de cómo planean integrar el arte en su práctica docente, el potencial que ven en su uso, o los desafíos que enfrentan al trabajar con el arte. Los resultados sugieren que, para las participantes, el arte emerge como una herramienta poderosa, útil y versátil para abordar diversos aspectos educativos. Sin embargo, perciben una brecha entre el reconocimiento del arte y la educación artística en la sociedad y su integración efectiva en el medio escolar que se atribuye a la falta de apoyo institucional, tanto en términos de reconocimiento social como de recursos y conocimientos disponibles para las docentes.This article seeks to explore the relationship between future teachers in training and artistic education, paying special attention to social aspects and the capacity of art to generate individuals who are critical and committed to the community to which they belong. Within the framework of a comprehensive questionnaire, participants were asked about how they plan to integrate art into their teaching practice, the potential they see in its use, and the challenges they face when working with art. The results suggest that, for the participants, art emerges as a powerful, useful and versatile tool for addressing various educational aspects. However, they perceive a gap between the recognition of art and artistic education in society and its effective integration into the school setting, which is attributed to a lack of institutional support, both in terms of social recognition and the resources and knowledge available to teachers.
