Mediante un análisis comparativo de cinco modelos europeos, Colegios Mayores (España), Collegi di Merito (Italia), Repúblicas de Estudantes (Portugal), Študentski domovi (Eslovenia) y Szakkollégiums (Hungría), el estudio identifica principios formativos y criterios de diseño transferibles para los campus contemporáneos. [Traducción automática al español; idioma original: inglés.]Within the framework of the European Affordable Housing Plan, which recognizes access to student housing as a structural condition of the right to education, this article critically examines the educational potential of university residential spaces as environments where pedagogy, technology, and architecture converge. Through a comparative analysis of five European models, Colegios Mayores (Spain), Collegi di Merito (Italy), Repúblicas de Estudantes (Portugal), Študentski domovi (Slovenia), and Szakkollégiums (Hungary), the study identifies formative principles and transferable design criteria for contemporary campuses. The results are organized around three axes: liberal education and character formation as the foundation of university life; the critical incorporation of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in service of community and deliberation; and architecture understood as materialized pedagogy.
