The profound transformation of the migration pattern in Spain during the last two decades has generated important opportunities and challenges. Among these stands out the social inclusion of young migrants in a situation of social vulnerability (YMSV). This study analyzes the efficacy of an integral intervention model aimed at their sociolaboral inclusion, promoted by the Madrid City Council and executed by the NGO CESAL. To this end, a longitudinal study was conducted with 102 YMSV aged between 18 and 25 years (M = 20.68; S.D. = 2.61), participants in the training program La Quinta Cocina. After participating in the program, the young people showed a statistically significant increase in autonomy in the transition to adult life (ATVA), sense of life, perceived social support, and self-concept. Likewise, those who initially presented lower levels of sense of life tended to also obtain lower scores in perceived social support and self-concept. The combination of low scores in these three variables seems to be associated with a greater increase in ATVA after the intervention, which suggests that the program is especially effective among young people with greater deficiencies in personal and social resources. In conclusion, the findings of this research demonstrate that La Quinta Cocina constitutes an effective psychosocial intervention tool for YMSV. Based on Giussani's postulates (Tempesta, 2023), its approach transcends professional training by integrating strategies aimed at strengthening the sense of life, improving self-concept, and consolidating both formal and informal support networks. In this way, the program responds to the diversity of profiles attended and promotes equitable opportunities for development and social inclusion.
