Su hipótesis propone, con un guiño al Heidegger tardío, comprender la belleza actual como una expresión salvífica y resplandeciente respecto de la esencia de la técnica moderna. Lo hace —este sería su método— mediante una breve hermenéutica sobre lo que Heidegger deslizó al final de La pregunta por la técnica, cuando señaló, a propósito del destino oculto que estamos llamados a descubrir frente a la amenaza del Gestell, que «en otro tiempo se llamó τέχνη también a la ποίησις de las bellas artes». Este llamado, a modo de resultados del escrito, lo hemos vislumbrado en las obras de seis artistas contemporáneos, quienes testimonian precisamente este resguardo creador de la verdad en la obra. De esta manera, y esta sería su principal conclusión, las obras de arte de Kepa Garraza, Gina Heyer, Kathrin Longhurst, Leah Giberson, Nusret Aktay y Scott Listfield parecen prefigurar cada una —fruto de mundos y de genios tan idénticos, pero tan distintos— un mismo destino utópico y salvífico.The aim of the work is to respond to the question of what beauty is in the 21st century. Its hypothesis proposes, with a nod to late Heidegger, to understand current beauty as a salvific and resplendent expression of the essence of modern technology. It does so —this would be its method— by means of a brief hermeneutic on what Heidegger slipped in at the end of The Question Concerning Technology, when he pointed out, with regard to the hidden destiny that we are called upon to discover in the face of the threat of the Gestell, that «in another time, the ποίησις of the fine arts was also called τέχνη». We have glimpsed this call, as a result of the writing, in the works of six contemporary artists, who bear witness precisely to this creative safeguarding of the truth in the work.
