Una colección que se basa en la abstracción del vestido Delphos de Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo, que estaba influenciado en el periodo jónico de Grecia. El Delphos tiene un papel importante, ya que toda la colección parte de él, no sólo por la utilización del tejido plisado que le caracteriza, sino también por los patrones empleados. La colección Protea, se llama así por una flor cuyo nombre fue dado en honor al dios griego, Proteo, que tenía el poder de cambiar de forma. Esta característica de cambiar de aspecto es la que hemos querido mostrar dando volúmenes con elementos arquitectónicos y esculturales. Protea contará con el diseño y la realización de las prendas de la colección, fashion film y sesión fotográfica.We have created a high-fashion time capsule for the fall-winter season 2018, the collection is dedicated towards the feminine client. A collection that is based on the abstract of Mariano Fortuny and Madrazo´s Delphos dress, which was influenced in the greek ionic period. The dress has a really important part, because all the collection takes inspiration from it, not only using the caracteristic pleated fabric, also the patterns. The Protea´s collection, takes the name after a flower, wich name was given in honor of the Greek God, Proteo, who could change shape. We wanted to show this caracteristic, change shape, in the collection by giving volume with architectural and estructural elements.
