Abstract

This paper is a proposal for renewing legal education from the framework of the European Higher Education Area. Starting from a conception of law as ars boni et aequi (the art of the good and the equitable), and considering the office of the jurist as iustitia atque iniusti scientia (the science of the just and the unjust), the author proposes a new way of teaching that covers the three levels of legal knowledge (philosophical, scientific and practical), including the development of procedural and interpersonal skills. All of which can only be achieved with a new teaching methodology.
