Abstract

According to this article, the catecheses on human love of Pope John Paul II contain useful pedagogical guidelines for transmitting the beauty of purity, which are based on a solid anthropology and lead to a deep and healthy spirituality. Analyzing this doctrinal corpus in depth, a relationship is established between the original experience of solitude, the filial meaning of the body and the gift of piety. The personalist aspects are novel with respect to traditional teaching, highlighting the intimate relationship that exists between anthropology, morality and spirituality.
